I think the last 3 or 4 of us are going to stick it out. We have all came to far to give up. I know its better to push through then to give up. The class is stuck with me til the end.

Hard to believe this is the last week! The end is so close, how could you not make it?

Though I haven't been present lately, I will be making it to the end of the course!...why spend all this time and money just to quit during the home stretch?!

10 Things I learned: A+E=L+OE+R; Debit/Credit; Matching principle-record transactions in period they occur; playlist.com is a really COOL place to listen to free music; if you do your homework it all makes A LOT MORE SENSE; Doug has a lot of fun stories and a twisted sense of humor - which I TOTALLY understand and according to him that means I better get married soon because I am turning into a geek; Income Statement, Statement of Owner Equity, Balance Sheet; GAAP-not ONLY a cool place to buy clothes, but also guidelines for accountants; Monopoly is STILL NOT much FUN, but it sure does come into perspective when you realize at least you do not have to journalize EVERY TRANSACTION; and last, but not least Doug will not be here to enlighten us with the next half of the book! :( Good luck with the move and thanks for an entertaining semester! :)

so i read the first three chapters of total money makeover. Dave talks about how the myth of debt came about, how everyone needs debt, but thats not true. he has a quote, "if you will live like no one else, later you can live like no one else." He says this plan will take sacrifice, because if it was easy then everyone would be debt free and rich. So, i am ready to take on the challenge.
